Do you have an update on when I’ll be able to change my program’s information about openings on Child Care Choices?

This is such a timely question! YES – those with Director of Record Access (DoRA) or DoRA Assistant can now update program openings and certain display information on Child Care Choices! Updates are made through the program’s Rising Stars for ME profile. 

Once the DoRA or DoRA Assistant has logged in to the program’s Rising Stars for ME profile, select the “My Child Care Choices search profile”:

The next page will show the CURRENT information displayed on Child Care Choices. To update, select “Edit Profile” at the bottom of the page. 

On the Child Care Choices Profile page, you’ll see the option to update openings by age group at the bottom. Programs can also update if they would like to display the DBA (Doing Business As) name from the program’s license. This is optional and the DBA name will display IN ADDITION to the Provider Name as listed on the license.

Click “Save” and you’re done! 

All changes are updated on Child Care Choices in real time, so be sure to keep your information up to date.
